Tar your program directory
Whatever your programs live under — the whole tree, including any customisations and overlay directories. Source only.
Free report · No card, no sales call
Send us a tarball of your programs — programs only, no data. We run them through the same parser that has already digested 5,079 programs and 536,000 lines of production Business Basic, and we send back exactly what parses clean, what needs attention, and what a migration would actually involve.
Nobody has ever been able to answer this for you. Now it takes a minute.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no card, no trial clock and no salesperson attached to it.
01 How to send it
Your programs are text. They're a few megabytes. Everything sensitive — your customers, your orders, your pricing — lives in the data files, and we don't want those yet.
Whatever your programs live under — the whole tree, including any customisations and overlay directories. Source only.
Straight through the browser. If it's easier to send another way, or you'd like an NDA in place first, say so and we'll arrange it.
Program-by-program results, the gaps called out by name, and an honest assessment of what your migration looks like.
02 What comes back
A line per program. Not a percentage — the actual list, so your developer can look for the one they're worried about.
Which verbs, functions and terminal mnemonics your code actually leans on, and how that maps onto what the runtime covers today.
Vendor-encrypted programs we'd need source for. Report-writer output that gets rewritten rather than emulated. Named, not buried.
Shape and effort, based on your corpus rather than a generic estimate. If it's a bad fit, the report says so.
03 Your source code
Thirty years of your company's business logic is not a lead magnet. Here is exactly what happens to it.
Your upload is removed within 90 days whether or not we ever speak again. Only anonymous aggregate counts survive it.
It is not used to train anything, not shown to another customer, and not passed to a third party.
Uploading changes nothing about ownership. We receive only the narrow permission needed to parse it and write your report.
Ask before you upload and we'll sign one. It's a normal request and it doesn't slow anything down.
04 Before you ask
No. Not for the report, and not until much later. Programs are text and they're small; your data files are enormous and full of your customers. We only need those once you've decided you want a system stood up in parallel — and by then there's usually an NDA and a signed assessment in place.
That's common — most sites have a handful of vendor-supplied programs they never got source for. The report names them rather than silently skipping them. Some can be obtained from the original vendor, some are no longer used at all, and some need a conversation. It's rarely the blocker people expect.
Actually free. The parse is automated, so it costs us close to nothing to run — which is exactly why we can give it away. You'll get the report whether or not you ever reply to us. If you want to talk afterwards, the report will have given you much better questions to ask.
Then it says that, and you've learned something valuable for free. We would rather tell you now than discover it three months into a migration. A vendor who won't show you the gaps is hiding them.
Takes a minute
No card, no clock, no salesperson. Just the answer you haven't been able to get.
